March is "Clean Your Closet" Month

Spring is almost here! I was grabbing something off the top shelf of my small walk-in closet when it hit me (literally... a bunch of items fell on my head): This month is the month to get my closets organized! Our closets currently have Closetmaid wire shelving systems which can be convenient but I'm starting to get sick of the wire imprints on my clothing and purses. This week I'll be working on our master bedroom walk in closet.
Here's a before picture:
Day #1
The clothes and wire shelves have been removed from the closet, the holes and cracks have been spackled, and the closet is ready to be painted. I have some Behr "Antique White" paint left over from another paint job so I think I'm going to use that.
We decided to go with the Closetmaid Selectives white shelving system which is available at Home Depot. I would've loved to build a system ourselves but I really wanted to get something done quickly and this seemed like the easiest option for us.
If you're interested in building your own closet organizer, I found these instructions on Home Depot's website that could help!
